St Cuthbert’s Church
Welcome to our parish! St Cuthbert’s is a place of faith, friendship, and support for everyone: a warmly inclusive church that truly welcomes all though its doors; believers, non-believers and everyone in between. With care for body, mind and spirit at the core of everything we do our ethos is firmly grounded in pastoral care where all are friends, and no one is left out.
Whether you use the church for traditional worship; for ‘Easter and Christmas’ observance; for meditation; for social and neighbourly gatherings or simply as a place to sometimes just ‘quietly be’ the church is here for you and your involvement in its ongoing use and care will be much welcomed.

Services in St. Cuthbert’s
Services in St. Cuthbert’s are held in the church on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday morning of every month, and all are very welcome. The services are a mixture of lay-led (Morning Prayer and Family Service) and Holy Communion. For any further information please contact our Church Warden:

The Quiet Church
Every Thursday (4.45pm for a 5 o’clock start) we meet for half an hour of quiet contemplation and meditation in our lovely church.
All are very welcome to join us, for more information, please contact Anna Dreda on annadreda@icloud.com or 01588 660154 or just turn up.

Sacred Space
On the second Friday of the month from September to December and from March to June, we meet for an hour of music and silence in the church, led by Anna Dreda and Clare Johnson.
We use sacred and inspirational music to take us into short periods of silence, usually listening to six pieces of music during the hour. Everyone is welcome to join us, from 5.45pm for a six o’clock start.
For more information, please contact Anna Dreda on annadreda@icloud.com or 01588 660154 or just turn up.

The Churchyard
St Cuthbert’s Cafe
St Cuthbert’s cafe is held in the village hall on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, from 10.00am-12.00noon.
It is open to anyone and everyone, from near or far, and we serve tea, coffee and squashes accompanied by delicious home-made cakes. More than anything else, it is an opportunity to catch up with old friends, and to make new ones. Of course there is no gossip in Clungunford, but if there was, this would be the place to hear it! It coincides nicely with the opening of the Thrift Shop and the visit by the Post Office van to the VH car park. What excuse do you have for staying away?
Income from the cafe is used in a variety of ways. Some goes towards church funds, but we also have dedicated fund-raising days for good causes such as the Royal British Legion, Craven Arms Food Bank and LAMB, a medical charity in Bangladesh that the church has been supporting for some years.
So come along, enjoy a cup of your favourite beverage taken with a piece of cake, and contribute to a worthwhile cause all at the same time!
