St Cuthbert’s Cafe
St Cuthbert’s cafe is held in the village hall on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, from 10.00am-12.00noon.
It is open to anyone and everyone, from near or far, and we serve tea, coffee and squashes accompanied by delicious home-made cakes. More than anything else, it is an opportunity to catch up with old friends, and to make new ones. Of course there is no gossip in Clungunford, but if there was, this would be the place to hear it! It coincides nicely with the opening of the Thrift Shop and the visit by the Post Office van to the VH car park. What excuse do you have for staying away?
Income from the cafe is used in a variety of ways. Some goes towards church funds, but we also have dedicated fund-raising days for good causes such as the Royal British Legion, Craven Arms Food Bank and LAMB, a medical charity in Bangladesh that the church has been supporting for some years.
So come along, enjoy a cup of your favourite beverage taken with a piece of cake, and contribute to a worthwhile cause all at the same time!
